What is AI IDX?

Classic IDX makes you do three jobs by hand: build the search, decide where listings go, and write the pages that are missing. IDX Bloom hands those jobs to AI, and keeps a rules-based fallback so the plugin still works when an AI connection is off.

• Plain-words search. A visitor types “3 bedroom condo in Edgewater with ocean view” or the Spanish equivalent, and it becomes a structured search in English or Spanish.
• Auto-placement. The plugin reads each page, works out whether it is about an area, a building, a price range or a topic, and plants the right listings and lead form there.
• Grown pages. When your site has no page for a neighborhood or building, it can grow one with a short summary, matching listings and links to related areas.
• Context for leads. A lead form carries the page, language and search that brought the visitor, so follow-up starts with facts.

The demo shows plain-words search on fictional sample listings. It does not use real MLS data.

Two built-in tools answer a practical question: can AI search actually reach and quote your site? Both ship in the plugin today.

• AI Access Doctor tests whether Google, Bing, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude crawlers can reach your pages. It is meant to catch settings that block AI bots by default, such as some CDN protections, and to offer one-click fixes with separate switches for search bots and training bots.
• AI Visibility panel is meant to show verified AI-bot visits per page, visitors arriving from AI answers, and the leads they became, with links to the Google and Bing reports.

They measure. They do not move a ranking.

Being straight about limits is part of the product:

• No ranking promises. Google and the AI engines decide what they show. AI answers also change from run to run, so we measure share over many runs and never claim a position.
• No guaranteed citations. Clear, specific, fresh pages are easier to quote. That is all we can honestly say.
• No MLS shortcuts. You still need to be an authorized MLS participant. By default, listing data is not pushed into AI tools, and AI rewriting of listing remarks stays off until the data partner and MLS confirm it is allowed.
• No invented facts. Grown pages are built from real data and stay gated when there is too little of it.

Large portals answer broad listing searches. An agent's own site can add something where the question is narrow: a specific building, a neighborhood, a bilingual search, or who to call. That is where a page with a direct answer, real local knowledge and current facts is useful to a buyer and easier for an AI answer to quote.

Google's own guidance treats AI search features as an extension of sound SEO basics: crawlable text, specific facts, freshness.
