When another option fits better
- You have no website and want design, hosting and IDX in one bill today: a builder fits. Our templates are coming soon, not here yet.
- You want a full CRM with drip emails and auto-responders: use a CRM. IDX Bloom feeds it.
- You need search across several MLSs, sold data or your own exclusive listings today: IDX Bloom does not do that yet.
Questions, answered
Why do you not name other products?
We compare categories, not brands, so everything here stays accurate and fair. The categories are a traditional IDX plugin, a website builder, and IDX Bloom.
How is it different from an iframe IDX?
An iframe shows a search from another domain inside a frame, so crawlers mostly see an empty frame. IDX Bloom builds real, server-rendered pages on your own domain, with no iframes and no subdomains.
How is IDX Bloom different from a website builder?
IDX Bloom is a plugin for the WordPress site you already have. It does not replace your site or your theme. Website templates for agents who have no site yet are coming soon, but they are not built.
Can I keep my old IDX while I try IDX Bloom?
Yes. Preview mode runs on one private page and changes nothing else, so you can test IDX Bloom next to what you have now and switch when you are ready.
What is IDX, and how is it different from the MLS?
The MLS is the shared database of listings that brokers use. IDX is the set of rules and the data feed that lets MLS participants show those listings on their own websites. IDX Bloom is the plugin that does the showing on your WordPress site.
Can it work on a site that is not WordPress?
No. IDX Bloom is a WordPress plugin. If you have no website yet, the website templates (coming soon) are planned for you.
